The bottom of the pot, the pan and the perforated lid are made of hard-anodized aluminum, which allows for the highest efficiency of heat distribution, chemical resistance, while still maintaining a very low weight.
The inner bottom of the GSI EscapeHS Pot, as well as the inside of the pan, is made of 3-layer anodized aluminum that is hardened using Radiance® technology (maximum non-stick, scratch-resistant surface). The folding sides of the pot and the thumb protectors are made of silicone. The pot can be folded to a minimum height of 5.3 cm. Both the pan and the pot are suitable for all types of outdoor stoves. However, they are definitely not suitable for cooking on an open fire!
